I read from the chinese newspapers on lies n here's what I roughly rmb it says:
-Males r twice as likely to lie compare to female
(Does that mean males r less trustable?but maybe that's just white lies, so it's alright)
-Some common lies:
-> It's not me!
-> I'm reaching soon
-> You look great in that dress
-> I didn't drink a lot
-> I'm 27
I think I've said these lies before except for faking my age. But maybe I'll lie abt age when I'm older. I think it's human nature to lie. I understand that it's better to be truthful but it's difficult to not lie at all. I don't believe there's ppl who don't lie.
My favourite lie is I'm reaching soon. I tell this lie because I can sense that the ppl on time waiting for me is getting angry n I think that if I were to tell the truth that I'll be VERY late I'm going to be "dead". I will also estimate the travel time by assuming that there's no red traffic light, the bus is speeding and there's very few ppl alighting. I know all these are just excuses, LATE MEANS LATE! I'll try to change this bad habit of mine.
